First off, it is possible to do all trophies with a single character.
Start your game on Nightmare and choose Rogue as your class. Pick your own race and sex, but beware that most characters have set romantic preferences so to romance these followers (the easiest are listed below)
Cassandra - Male Inquisitor
Solas - Female Elf Inquisitor only
Sera - Female Inquisitor (easier as Elf, but she's generally not picky with race)
Dorian - Male Inquisitor (harder as Qun, but not impossible)
Iron Bull - Female Inquisitor
Blackwall - Female Inquisitor
There are several others that do not count towards "Beloved and precious" e.g. Scout Harding, although if you flirt with them enough, your Inquisitor may be in a relationship with them at the beginning of the final DLC.
With that out the way, I'll now explain why Rogue is the best class for a nightmare run, especially if you're keen to do all trophies in one go.
Rogue's have the ability to use bows, which you should do so. This is because they have a skill at the end of this tree that will do serious damage and even whilst playing on Nightmare, you can still unlock the damage over 1000 trophy.
Now, going for hard hitter, also gives you another advantage as a rogue. You have lots of damage avoidance skills to choose from, as well as a high dexterity, meaning you're normally alot harder to hit, but on half of these ocassions, Nightmare mode will cancel them out.
Party make up will depend on your play style and mission you are playing.
In a mission that you know you will struggle, a high defence is probably better. So, my make up would normally be Inquisitor, Solas (ice/spirit), Cassandra (Vanguard/Sword+Shield) and Blackwall (Battlemaster/Sword+shield). Two tanks in this situation gives you a huge tactical control over the battlefield.
When you want to be more dominant in attack, replace Cassandra with Dorian as Electric/spirit or Vivienne as fire/spirit.
Two rogues never work on Nightmare and annoying the two best rogues will also be Bowman and not worth dragging along, unless you're doing their specific missions.
At some point using your tactical pause you can use it to control the group to attack the same target. Preferably, yourself and Blackwall working together, if the enemy dies during the attacks unleashed, you should get:
Now, down to brass tax.
Dragons SHOULD NOT BE ATTEMPTED before you finish the game and can load up a previous save to revert the game back to casual and then hunt them down.
Although, when at level 17 or 18 the Hinterlands Dragon should still be fairly easy on Nightmare to be able to get the first Dragon Related tropht if you can't wait.
Slaying all ten Dragons will get you:
MissionsDo not attempt
Before you have recruited every companion, this will not only boost your experience and skills. But make the boss easier.
If you struggle with the boss, it is possible to pull enemies away, kill them then rinse and repeat at the final trebuchet.
Making sure you have every companion recruited also gives you the ability tl play around with whatever team dynamic suits how you like to use your inquisitor.
Complete all the easiest Hinterlands quests after these trophies and close as many rifts as possible. Then proceed to "In your hearts shall burn" on the wartable.
Once you've got to Skyhold, you'l then be given two story missions that you need to save power for. "Here lies the Abyss" and "Wicked eye and wicked hearts".
To get power quickly unlocking
in the process. Go to the Hinterlands and keep completing the two geographical Requisitions over and over. Using save files correctly means that if the officer gives you one of the more difficult ones, you can reload. If you get bored after 20, use some of the missions in the Hinterlands and Close a few more rifts. If you start running out of ones you can easily do, open up a new map on fereldens side on the war table. Storm Coast is normally a decent choice.
You'll require about 50 power if you want to do the story missions back to back.
I'd reccomend doing "wicked eyes and wicked hearts" first as it is easier than its younger cousin. Also, make sure you choose to do full approval as this allows you to skip the final (and most annoying in the game) Boss.
Before you get all the power you require for the two story missions, you should be able to unlock:
To unlock this faster, you can start three missions on the wartable, make a note of how long the longest quest takes to comete. With the game open, dashboard and go to your clock settings, manually set the time to in the future, open the game and go back to the wartable and rinse and repeat til it unlocks. A downside to this is that you will not gain power through most of the missions, but a lot of Inquisition perk points should be gleamed early on.
Now go for the rather annoying "Here lies the abyss" storyline. It's not a great mission and quite frnakly it doesn't matter how you choose to end it (although one option will make Varric hate you a little longer than the other)
Do all companions quests and find out their likes and dislikes, act accordingly during missions and they'll grow to value you as a friend, three friends will unlock
It's a great idea to get
before you head off to finish anymore storyline trophies. (the next one is final anyway) a nice XP bonus is gleamed from doing this.
Also doing all three specialisation quests to completion then deciding which to go for is a good idea
this will also earn you
As a rogue, the best one is artificerier, it helps to create barriers between you and your enemies, it can also be crucial to helping your mage(s).
During Morrigans storyarc, allow her to drink from the pool (make a save before hand and keel it, we'll be coming back later)
Once you've done everything you can possibly do, closed as many breaches as you can and pretty much done every quest on almost every map, you should be nearing level 21 or 22.
Personally, I got impatient and went to the point of bo return at level 19 and got this trophy upon completing the game.
Finishing the last story mode trophy will get us:
Other trophiesYou can now loadup the save before going to the final mission.
Turn down the difficulty to casual (or normal if you prefer). and hunt down the dragons as I said above.
Make sure to close every breach you encounter, the ones that are left should be a cakewalk on Casual.
Once you've done this, make a hard save and keep it safe.
During Morrigans storyarc, you had a choice to make in the temple. Go back to your earlier save we made before this choice and drink from the pool yourself. Play through til you meet the Eleven god a second time and proceed to fight the dragon on casual difficulty. This will earn the only missable trophy other than "Belle of the ball"
Now reload the save we made after killing all dragons and closing all rifts.
Following this guide, hopefully, you'll have gotten a huge amount of other trophies.
has some astralariums near annoying rifts that are easier on casual, which is why it's easier to do them now, you don't have to loot the cave just solve all 15.
the challenges for
are easier on casual, but a lot less fun, it depends on how you'd like to do it. The stones tend to be easier to get on this mode tol as some of the occulariums are guarded by Dragons.
Will unlock if you do a few errands on your final load up of your save file. It records every bit of coin, as long as you save the game, so it is easier than it looks, but is likely to be your last trophy before platinum, unless you've struggled with "Beloved and precious".
and
go hand in hand and if you can't find the seeds in the wilds of more elusive rare plants, the black emporium or shops in Val Royeux and other towns may sell them.
For the
keep doing the gather coin mission or gather material missions using the time exploit (there's a video on this link that shows you how) to get all three pieces fairly quickly, although, the reward is still luck of the draw.
Wait til you're killing Dragons then go to Skyhold after looting the corpse and build a sword pummel using the dragon materials to get
Most other trophies are fairly easy and will come naturally.
