All credit goes to the maker of this video. I managed to unlock this trophy in 12 hours, going from a level 60 to 100 in that time.

I’m open to helping people get this trophy and running this with them as I have this 999 round job. This may get patched soon so if you want me to help you, you’d better be quick.

voidwraithsJust to add to this solution, I advise you get to rank 99 and a bit before the trophy can unlock. Reason being is the trophy doesn't actually pop until you hit 100 or higher in free mode. By this high a level, you should have a CEO business, so just do Headhunter or Sightseer to get the last of the RP needed to go from 99 to 100.

VanillaLatte44I didn’t have a CEO business, as I feel it’s a waste of money in relation to what else you need, for example: the facility for the doomsday heist achievements, body armor, and a kuruma. Yes, you can upgrade your guns with a business but I still feel it’s a waste of money and isn’t that necessary.
I had no issues with unlocking this trophy.

HappyDogCPHGreat guide! Vanilla - that guide is perfect, ignore the comment above. You definitely don’t need a CEO business of any of that crap.

Fall 2023 guide (current RP gains, current idle times, etc).

I am aware there are similar guides available, but they are substantially older. Thank you to all guide authors above who provided hints how to tackle this long trophy, especially I am Mindslave from trueachievements.com who’s guide was an inspiration to create this one in an updated form.

If you read this it means you are in similar position and try to get to rank 100 in GTA Online, probably your last trophy/achievement from the base game.

I have GTA 5 since release - first on X360, then PS4 and recently got an upgrade to PS5, although I was never too bothered with GTA Online. Recently however I decided to finish some games I played in the past and here we are.

Getting to level 100 means you will need to get 1584350 RP.

You can either play the game and rank up at your own pace, depending on skill, luck and other players present.

You can also grind various jobs, which is tedious but brings the relatively steady, hassle free amount of RP.

    I.e: I am currently level 63. To level up from 62 I required 19600RP.

You can just race on your own (closed matchmaking) but there are some factors which you should consider:

    - create a playlist of how many races you wish to save loading time (I have a list of 6 races which are: Criminal Records, The Los Santos Triangle, Downtown Underground, Taking Off, Down the Drain, Cutting Coroners. You can select whatever races you wish, however these are quite short ones which allow you to do some other stuff in between because ->

    - To get max RP you must not finish the race before clock turns to 4 minutes. Stop just before crossing the finish line and wait until the counter turns to 04:00, then cross the finish line. Then you get max RP and a substantial amount of cash but ->

    - Beware of idling times. You can idle for 3 minutes before the game kicks you for idling, what results in losing the RP for this race, losing progress in your playlist and returning back to free roam.

    - Play 2 laps (preferably with no traffic) and try to get a clean lap (+100RP) for not smashing into anything. Only 1 clean lap bonus is given in each race.

    - Like a race after finishing it (+50RP).

    - Using a playlist method also gives 2 bonuses: 1st: you save a lot of time after races as you don’t have to return to free roam and you CAN restart a playlist after finishing it. You CANNOT restart a single race without launching it again from menu from the scratch as the game will suggest you several other activities to take part with replay being greyed out. 2nd bonus is that you get extra RP for finishing the playlist (+100RP for each race, so 600RP when you have a playlist of 6 races). Playlist allows for only 1 race of the same type, so your races are different and it is not so boring too as playing one single race over and over again.

It will take many hours to get to level 100. Each level has slightly higher RP requirement, however your RP gained from races increases a little bit too.

For me at level 62, I was getting:
    - 1365RP per 4 minute race (9605RP for 6 races)
    - 100RP for clean lap each race (600RP for 6 races)
    - 50RP for liking a race (300RP for 6 races)
    - 600RP for finishing a playlist
Total: 11105RP for a completed playlist of 6 races, taking about 30 minutes what gives:

    * 22210RP within 1 hour. It means that RP required for levelling from 62 to 63 is gained within more or less 1 hour.

Yes, it is a grind, but it allows to easily get to level 100 with some patience of course. You can play your saved playlist whenever you can, whenever you have 30 minutes free and you will get there eventually. You can cook, read, tidy up at home, search for Xmas gifts when idling and you will still get there.

Beware of some races that although short, may give a reduced amount of RP - one of the examples is Arms Race, which gives only about 3/4 of RP. The ones which I pointed out earlier provide full RP and cash.

I hope this guide helps. Please comment below if there is anything to improve.
