To send a challenge you need to do the following:

    1. pick a song
    2. click dance now
    3. in the top right hand corner of the next screen, Add Challengers
    4. Dance and beat at least one of the challengers scores (their top score)
    5. when the song ends, in the top right hand corner again, click on Send challenge. Against the names of the dancers you beat you'll see the message 'challenge sent'.

BIG, HUGE, REALLY IMPORTANT RECOMMENDATION: DO THIS TROPHY FIRST!!!

The challengers you get will all be dancers with a higher top score than your own top score. If you've never danced the song this means you'll get people with low scores. If you make the mistake I did and do lots of dancing first, five starring most of the songs, you'll find your challengers have very high five star scores you can't beat.

I tried starting a new game but it didn't help - if you've danced on the world dance floor your high scores are recorded online and challengers are online too and it will use your online score to match you to challengers - it still gave me very hard challengers to beat. Of course, if you've only ever posted local high scores, perhaps a new game save will work for you. I can't confirm this though because all my dancing has been in the world dance floor as part of progressing towards online level 5000.

If you think getting a mega high score will mean they give you challengers with lower scores, think again. I have one song like this and it only ever gave me one challenger, always the same one, presumably the only dancer with an equivalent but higher score than mine. I tried, but found I needed to PERFECT the entire song to beat them. Which of course I couldn't do!

The good news is that if you've already made the mistake of five starring your songs on the world dance floor, as I did, it's not a disaster. Community remixes and VIP dances are alternative versions that sit within some of the songs ( e.g. I Want to Know Now). They have the option to add challengers as well. Mash-ups and other alternatives (the things you have to spend mojo to unlock) don't. With careful management of your scores you will still have enough opportunity to send 100 challengers, particularly if you pay attention to the following tips.

    TIPS:

    1. When it adds challengers they seem to be mostly random people or friends if they have a higher but not too much higher high score than yours, Since you can't challenge yourself, just Remove Challenges (top right hand corner again) and add them back in. Keep doing this until you get three actual dancers to compete against.

    2. If you get a person with a PSN ID starting with JD, do the same thing as in tip 1. I found that with them in there, even if I beat them I couldn't send them a challenge, wasting one chance to send a challenge each time.

    3. For songs with more than one dancer, because you have to choose who you want to follow, it doesn't show you who your challengers are. Remove and add them again so you can make sure they are all real, challengeable people.

With these three tips, you give yourself the change to send a maximum 3 possible challenges per song, if you win.

    4. Control your score for each song you've never danced so you only just beat the other dancers - stop dancing if you get too far ahead. You want your new high score to be as low as possible, so that next time for the same song you get challengers you can still beat easily. Once you get past 4 stars for any song, your challengers are likely to be dancers with five stars or close to it.

With this tip you can get three to four repetitions per song - at a possible 3 challenges sent per go, that's 9-12 challenges per song. If you've done no dancing it probably doesn't matter but I needed this to get my 100 because there aren't that many songs that have a community remix or VIP version and I couldn't use many of the regular songs.

    5. If you're close to the end of a song and you aren't beating anyone (or only one perhaps) of the other dancers and don't think you can catch up, quit before the end of the song. If you lose to all challengers but knock off your top score, that's the new benchmark for your next attempt. You can end up with five stars for a song and not be able to send any challenges from it if you don't pay attention to this one.

After a couple of hours of careful dancing as suggested above, you should end up with this trophy.
