This trophy is pretty simple.
You will need to be playing as the Cactus in order to complete this trophy. If you are really looking to get this trophy and get stuck on the zombie team you can press
and you will switch teams provided room is available. But if you are going for the platinum you will have plenty of chances to play as the Cactus.
It is best to play on Gardens & Graveyards in order to get this trophy, but it can be done on any mode (excluding garden ops).
After you have hit level 3 with the Cactus you will have all 3 skills available to you. Press
and it will launch a drone. The drone controls are pretty simple,
goes down,
goes up, and
launches the Corn Strike. you can also fire machine gun style bullets with
but this is unrelated to the trophy.
The Corn Strike is not immediately available, hang out right next to your cactus/allies until the attack is ready. Once it is ready, head to the nearest group of enemies, put your cross hairs where you would like to fire and press
.
It is important to note that the Corn Strike does not immediately hit, it will take a few seconds before exploding, it also its visible before exploding so enemies may duck out of the way as soon as they see it. Try to aim where they are going to be, not where they are to help.Its also important to note that each time you die the drone restarts, so if your drone gets blown up you can run into a group of enemies and die for a quick rechargeThe strike does extremely high damage (around 70 for direct hit, 30-40 for non-direct) so if someone is in the middle of the strike it will kill them.
After you have all 10 kills the trophy will pop.
This trophy is cumulative and does not need to be gained in one match.
