This could come naturally If you are using the hammer a lot, otherwise you can just load up a brain transplant level, Grab the hammer (As close as you can to the head of the hammer) and just beat/rub the hammer into the skull and brain.
I found moving my hammer in a circular motion against the brain worked really well
