You can't miss this trophy if you play a game online.
Before each game you get the chance to purchase items / weapons with points with your online points. This happens once you have found a player in matchmaking and you are sitting in the pre-game lobby.
When you play your first game online you will be prompted to do this by the game as a form of tutorial.
