  Once you catch fire, your ships move controls barely work so your ship can only be saved if you're (practically) right over a puddle of water.
  
  There are earlier moments to get this but if you're already far enough in the game you may want to load up the first level of the ice world (level 'cool down') since it has an opportunity right at the beginning.
  
  When the level starts you'll have to shoot down the bottom of a small lake. Shoot down the left side, so the water goes left. There's two enemy shooters there; if they hit you you'll catch fire. Simply drop into the pool you've created and you'll extinguish the fire; now simply stay alive long enough for the trophy to unlock.
  
  You can also do this a bit later on in the level when you've unlocked the magma suit; simply spray lava all over yourself when you're hovering over some water.

  I got this trophy very easily doing this simple method. In the 3rd section of the 1st stage (Into the Abyss), you come to a part where you have to dive in and come out of water (I think they tel you how to pull coins in with the rotating of joystick). When you come out of the water you can still be burned by the heat of the lava above you. So you could simply fly straight up, wait for the lava to overheat your ship and fall back into water you just came out of, or you can travel a touch further where an enemy shoots at you, let 1 shot connect (should put u instantly at 3 bars) then do what was said earlier and let the lava take the last bar. Either way you burn and there's water directly below you.
