All you need is a No Encounters weapon or armor (dropped by Wraiths and Ghosts for example). Then teleport to the Thunder Plains and walk south from the Travel Agency until there is a small crater on the left side of the road next to a lightning rod tower. After reaching it just follow this video guide.

The trophy pops up when you open the reward chest.

    All credit goes to SplitPlaythru.

    RickytheWCHD lag tips:
    - If your TV has it, turn on its game mode, it should hopefully reduce the button lag a little (but probably make the game look worse).
    - Make sure your ps3 is plugged directly into the TV. This probably won't affect many people, but if you have the ps3 routed through something like an Xbox One, unplug it from the one and plug it directly into the TV. Routing it through another device tends to cause a lot of lag.

I just bought the Remaster, so I don't have the Trophy yet, which I understand hurts my credibility. That said, I did this as a 13 year before trophies existed so my technique is proven.

My strategy is simple; mute the tv. It can get confusing as the lightning and the thunder don't always sync up. And if you react to the sound, you can still get struck. But you aren't dodging thunder so it's really irrelevant. Mute the tv and you can just react to every lightning strike. It makes this so much easier.

They everybody! This video is going to show you how to gain the Lightning Dancer trophy and also show you everything you gain from the box at the Travel Agency. First, you're going to need a no encounter weapon, which can be gained in the Temple of the Stolen Faith. Second you’ll need about 20~25minutes of free time and a lot of patience. There is a small crater at the top left of the first map of the Thunder Plains. What you want to do is run in a circle while not running to far to the left and run right back into the crater. This forces down a thunder bolt and makes the trophy a lot more controllable.

NichabodTo piggyback off of this video, which is really a great strategy and spot, I got this while counting to 11 dodges twice, and taking a break for a few minutes after 20. I'd make a note of each set of 20, with the two extra as a reserve. That way if I get struck at the end, I'd have some extra just in case. Took me about 45 minutes, after getting to 180 and getting hit and having to restart.
