There are a total of 53 papercraft plans to find as you travel through the first 14 levels, plus an additional plan that can be acquired at anytime. The plans will appear as white shadows of which you need to take photographs to restore colour to them. Once the photo has been taken, it doesn’t matter whether you bin it or store it, the papercraft model will still be unlocked. Here’s a photo guide to getting all of these things in order as you progress through the story. Click on the images to make them larger.
The Standing Stones – 4 Models1) You will need to replay the chapter to get this papercraft model as you will have progressed too far through the stage to be able to return after getting the camera. You will pass through a curtain into a large open area after being told that nasty things are still coming out of the sun. To the left of the area is a mound with two apples on top. Use the bounce pad to get onto the mound. On your left side, just behind you, is the white shadow of a Bull Mummer. PICTURE TOP LEFT
OPTIONAL - As soon as you receive the camera, look upwards and take a picture of the sun. This is the additional plan that can be taken at any time.
2) After receiving the camera, turn around and head back into the large open area that you had just left. On the left of the area as you return is the large white shape of the Oak Tree. PICTURE TOP RIGHT
3) Now head over to the opposite side of this area and look to the right. Underneath a tree is the white statue of a Cone Face. PICTURE BOTTOM LEFT
4) Go back to the middle of the area and turn to look directly at the two cone faces at which you had to throw the blue balls back into the eyes. Above the left statue is the white shadow of the Horse Mummer. PICTURE BOTTOM RIGHT
Wassail Orchard – 5 Models1) After the first checkpoint, you will encounter the white shadow of the Squirrel King. He is story related and can’t be avoided. PICTURE TOP LEFT
2) You will come to a brief battle with three scraps, after which you collect an apple to throw into the bowl. At the top of the ramp that this creates is the white shadow of the Crocus. PICTURE TOP RIGHT
3) Once reaching a checkpoint, you will have a choice of taking a brown bridge or a green bridge. Before doing this, look to the right for the white shadow of the Conifer. PICTURE BOTTOM LEFT
4) You will throw apples into three bowls to turn them into bounce pads. After bouncing up these, you will encounter the white shadow of the Wall Flowers. PICTURE BOTTOM RIGHT
5) After gaining the ability to jump, you will cross a couple of spinning records and some unfurling green ramps. After bouncing on the drum, you will see the shadow of a Drum in the background behind a dancing apple.
Maypole Fields – 4 Models1) After the ride on the pig, you will enter a large open area. After speaking to the Mummer about the crows, head left to see the shadow of the Winter Tree. PICTURE TOP LEFT
2 and 3) Head back in the other direction to the right of the entrance. Ahead you will see the white shadow of the Carousel. If you look to the left of the Carousel, you will also see the white shadow of the Wheat, which is sitting behind the barn. PICTURE TOP RIGHT
4) If you continue around the edge of the area in a counter-clockwise direction, you will cross the stream and climb back up the slope to find a white shadow of a Standing Stone. It is sat to the right of an extra thing to do. PICTURE BOTTOM LEFT
The Barn – 4 Models1) After drawing a moustache for a Mummer, you have to use acorns to lower a pulley. Once you travel up in the pulley, you will see the white shadow of a Marrow directly in front of you. PICTURE TOP LEFT
2) After finding the Marrow, you will encounter a second pulley that you need to weight with acorns. At the top of this pulley, head to the right and you will find the white shadow of a Pumpkin. PICTURE TOP RIGHT
3) After rolling through the cheese you will see two ramps in front of you that are held up with boxes. Head to the right of these boxes and you will find the white shadow of a Seed Mummer hidden behind a block of cheese. PICTURE BOTTOM LEFT
4) After defeating the first Scraps on stilts, take the lift and then head back along the ledge beside it so that you are walking behind the Mummer. Roll through the mouse hole to find the white shadow of the Mouse beside a present. PICTURE BOTTOM RIGHT
Gibbet Hill – 4 Models1) After passing the first “extra thing to do”, you will need to fold / unfold several ramps. At the top of these is the white Elk who will ask you to take a photo that he can use to colour in his coat again. PICTURE TOP LEFT
2) After throwing the head onto the scarecrow for the second time, head up the ramp behind him and continue up the ledges that have to be folded and unfolded. As you progress upwards, you will encounter the white shadow of the Torch along your path. PICTURE TOP RIGHT
3) Just around the corner from the Torch, as you continue up the folding / unfolding ledges, is the white shadow of a Heart Mummer who will implore you to take a photo quickly. PICTURE BOTTOM LEFT
4) After throwing the head onto the scarecrow for the third time, fight the Scraps and then head through the barrier. In this area is a Mummer who is sat in front of the white shadow of the Cabin. PICTURE BOTTOM RIGHT
Crash Site – 3 Models1) When you step out of the crater, head left past the bookmark and you will see the white shadow of the Pine Tree Sapling. PICTURE TOP LEFT
2) After meeting your new friend and being introduced to glue, you will have a battle with Scraps. After the battle, head through the blockade and you will see the white shadow of the Mushroom in front of you. PICTURE TOP RIGHT
3) After using the weight of the messenger to drop two barricades, you will cross a wooden bridge. Here you will see the white shadow of the Apple in the distance. PICTURE BOTTOM LEFT
The Harbour – 3 Models1) After leaving the lighthouse, you will see the white shadow of the Buoy in the sea to the right of the walkway. PICTURE TOP LEFT
2) After taking a photo of the Buoy, turn around to face the beach. You will see the white shadow of the Oyster on the beach. PICTURE TOP RIGHT
3) You will not be able to reach this model until after you have obtained the Squeezebox from The Lab. After leaving the lighthouse, cross the walkway and enter the house in front of you. To the right of the door is a windmill that will need to be blown away. Inside the hidden room is the white shadow of the Chief Scientist. PICTURE BOTTOM LEFT
Wendigo Fissure – 4 Models1) In the starting area, directly in front of you will be a white Gopher mingling with some paper balls. PICTURE TOP LEFT
2) Once the Wendigos start throwing rocks at you, you will walk across a glue wall before making the Wendigo throw a rock at a crack in the wall. After heading through that crack, you will have to bounce across a series of platforms as two more Wendigos throw rocks at you. At the side of the second Wendigo is the white shadow of the Pine Cone. PICTURE TOP RIGHT
3) After taking the photo of the Pine Cone, you will run across unravelling ground before reaching a checkpoint and the chance for a quick breather. At the left side of this area is the giant white shadow of the Leafy Tree. PICTURE BOTTOM LEFT
4) After running through the last section where holes appear in the ground as you pass through, take a look at the last crater on the left. In it is the white shadow of the Drill. PICTURE BOTTOM RIGHT
The Lab – 4 Models1) After speaking to the receptionist, you will be taken down into the Lab. Head to the right of the checkpoint to find a white Scientist working at a machine. PICTURE TOP LEFT
2) After taking a photograph of the messenger for the Lab’s records, you’ll see Squeeze Box platforms. In between the second and third horizontal platforms, you’ll see the white shadow of the Computer on a ledge above you. PICTURE TOP RIGHT
3) You will come to an area where a Scrap leaps out of a cupboard before others spawn in. There is a windmill that controls a rotating platform and a fan in the floor to help the messenger to get onto the next ledge. To the right of this area is the white shadow of the Squeeze Box on a ledge. PICTURE BOTTOM LEFT
4) As you enter the Chief Scientist’s office, you will see the white shadow of the Tall Chair on the left. PICTURE BOTTOM RIGHT
The Caverns – 4 Models1) After crossing two pipes, you will reach another pipe into which you need to jump to reach the higher ledge. Before doing this, jump onto the island on the right that is next to a waterfall. Follow the island to its end and then use the rafts to reach a smaller island with the white shadow of a Present. PICTURE TOP LEFT
2) After taking the photo of the present, return to the ledge and jump into the pipe. As you fall out of the other end, two Scraps will burst out of cupboards. One of them is white. PICTURE TOP RIGHT
3) You will come across pink and yellow-striped strips of paper that are blocking your path. By using the Squeezebox on the windmill, the paper blows back to reveal a bounce pad that you use to leap over the paper. After clearing the first two barricades, activate the camera and look to the right to see the white shadow of a Docker clinging to a rock. PICTURE BOTTOM LEFT
4) While freeing the Wendigos, you will come across one trapped in a cage that has lost its colour. PICTURE BOTTOM RIGHT
Between the Pages – 3 Models1) Near the start of the level you will walk across several glued bits of paper, between which there will be bounce pads, followed by a long series of bounce pads at the end. After navigating these, look to the left of the next bridge to see the white shadow of the Water Lily in the distance. You will need to stand at the far end of the bridge to be close enough for the model to be triggered. PICTURE TOP LEFT
2) You will cross three rotating books, the third of which you will need to slide down to reach the platform below. On this platform is the white shadow of the Beehive. PICTURE TOP RIGHT
3) As you progress through the level, you will come to a checkpoint with the white shadow of an Ink Pot next to it. This one is really hard to miss. PICTURE BOTTOM LEFT
The Desert – 4 Models1) In the starting area, just past the bookmark, is the white shadow of the Cacti on a ledge. PICTURE TOP LEFT
2) After climbing up a series of ledges, you’ll encounter a Pig that needs to be ridden through the next section of desert. He would like his colour restoring. PICTURE TOP RIGHT
3) At the end of the pig’s ride, check out the ledge to the right before going into the area in front of you. Here is the white shadow of the Desert Bush. PICTURE BOTTOM LEFT
4) When the bus comes into sight, you will talk to a cactus. After talking to him, turn around and unroll the bridge behind you. Follow the trail upwards to find the white shadow of the Water Tower next to the final present. PICTURE BOTTOM RIGHT
The Traveller – 3 Models1) After talking to the Squirrel near the start of the level, head down the corridor a little further and you will see the white shadow of the Green Man on top of a cupboard on the left. PICTURE TOP LEFT
2) At the end of the corridor is a ledge where you are first introduced to the lost messenger. Before you step onto the platform, look to the right for the white shadow of the Snowflake. PICTURE TOP RIGHT
3) As you guide the lost messenger through the maze, look to the right to see the white shadow of the Sunflower PICTURE BOTTOM LEFT
The Tear – 4 Models1) As you land after the freefall section, look to the right to see the white shadow of a Butterfly on a cactus. PICTURE TOP LEFT
2) After taking a photo of the Butterfly, talk to the Mummer and record You. Once done, stand to the left of the Mummer, open your camera and look towards the nearby island. You will see the white shadow of the Pinetree in the distance. PICTURE TOP RIGHT
3) After crossing the second set of pink tilt-able platforms, you will step onto a small island. The white shadow of the Woodspirit Mummer can be seen on a rotating island that pops up and down in front of the island on which you are stood. PICTURE BOTTOM LEFT
4) After drawing the star, take a photo of the white shadow of the Basketball Hoop that is on the same island. PICTURE BOTTOM RIGHT
