It has been confirmed that you CAN use your abilities and ranged weapons in Wolfpack (which gets you the most xp), with the exception of Body Guard.

As seen in the comments it is also possible to use certain Abilities ahead of time by using Copycat which allows you to use the same class as the player who killed you.

Sorry for the late reply, the Optional Bonuses in Wolfpack are definitely glitched. I don't know why, but I had the same problem. I actually ended up beating every Map on Wolfpack anyways, it was fairly easy. I wanted to unlock all of the MP Costumes from Wolfpack. It is also a good way to complete certain Challenges and get XP.

Do you need to kill by using abilities or just use them once?

I found that using them seemed to be enough, however, if you are able to, try to use them successfully (either by getting a kill, stunning, revealing, etc. an enemy).

If you are trying to get to Lv 55, Wolfpack is great, but you will find yourself using your abilities A LOT more in Adversarial MP. What I did, was create ONE Class with my NEWEST Abilities & Ranged Weapons (so I would force myself to use them), and then other classes that were just good.

Why not add that if you use the copy perk you can get access to abilities and weapons earlier. I did this on my Xbox version and unlocked it fine

Hmm, I did not try that for fear that it would not work and the Level 55 Trophy, but thanks for confirming that it does work!

i just need an explanation in order to work out with this trophy , can i use every single ability and ranged weapons more than once or i have to use each one of them once ?

you see , i have only one ability (( transforming to another person )) ability and ive used it several times , so im afraid that i will not be able to unlock this trophy because i used it for several time .

No, at least once. You can use some abilities once, others thousands of times. So long as you use them all at least once.

for me, these 2 achievements (getting lvl 55 and allrouder) arent my favourite ones. especially not when all rounder won't pop up after I was certain that I used every ability, ranged weapon, etc...
now i have to get trough them all again
(I'm not really a multy player in an assassins creed game. I mostly pprefer the story modes)

Here's a helpful hint (8 years after the most recent post). Use the challenges page, to see what perks you've used, and which you haven't. If you've started progress on something that involves the ability, you've used it. This would help the previous commenter, when trying to establish which abilities they've used, and which they haven't.
