    To increase your multiplier, simply keep killing enemies.

    Unlike Super Stardust, your multiplier won't just reset if you die, but also if you don't kill any enemies for a certain amount of time. It can also be "kept alive" if you pick up a human or put him in the escape pod.

    It will also be paused during boss fights

    Text guide- You have to constantly keep destroying enemies or the multiplier will reset.
    The easiest way to build the multiplier is on the harder difficulties. You'll likely get the 5x multiplier during normal playing, but the 10x and 15x are a bit harder. Try to leave a few enemies on-screen at any time so you always have something to shoot at.
