  Can be done easily on any difficulty against the boss at Decima.
  
  Simply fight as normal until he spawns a replica grey cube of itself. At this point hit overdrive against the replica and you should near enough see the trophy pop instantly.

  Worked. Just to be sure I used the 3'rd ship ( Phobos? ) which has the highest overdrive stat

  It can be done at Decima level. You need to reach Decima boss using Pherox or Phobos at any difficulty and when it sheds it shell press R1.

  I got this easily playing ACIS on Veteran. When your overdrive is fully powered up, wait until there are walls of enemies closing in on you from both sides. When they are almost on you, hold R1 until the white circle closes in towards you then release right before it touches you. A sphere bomb will explode around you, killing all enemies. The trophy popped for me so there must've been at least 100 surrounding me. Good luck!
