This trophy can be a lot harder if playing as Piers. If you are pursuing this trophy as Piers, do your best to shoot the AA guns on the ship in a clockwise manner starting from the right. You'll know if you are hit if the screen flashes red. If this happens at anytime during this section, you can quit to the main menu and continue from the beginning of the flying section.
Below is a video of how to get the trophy with Chris. If it gives you too many problems as Piers but you don't want to compromise your medals earned throughout the chapter by going to chapter select and choosing Chris: just finish the chapter off as Piers, get your medals, then go to chapter select, choose the last section of the chapter (which this is) and play it again as Chris.
