For the purposes of this trophy, gold Offered to the goddess counts Prayers, Continue costs (for you and your allies), and Resurrection costs for bones in the temple. It is not clear to me if this is for a single character or counts across multiple characters (I would surmise single character)
100k is really not very much when you consider the number of times the game need to be played through for the other trophies so this will almost certainly come during the regular course of play. It would likely be unwise to specifically go for it, but if you wanted to do so, the fastest way to get this trophy would be via continue costs for yourself or your allies, these start at 50xlvl and go up by a factor of 3-4 (not sure exactly), for each time you continue within one adventure (resets when you return to town). I suspect that if you saved up >100k in gold and then purposely killed yourself multiple times versus a boss you could then revert save after trophy was awarded and get your cash back (do not finish level unless you have a back up save as it autosaves in current slot after levels).
