Welcome to Jak 2 for the Vita! I'm sure you noticed the framerate drop like a rock when you entered the city proper. Well, I'm here to give you some good news, in the form of a helpful tip for taking on the challenge this port's framerate poses.

If you go into the secrets menu, and scroll down to the bottom, you will see that all these secrets are hidden as '???????????'. For those who have played this game before, you know the last four secrets are Unlimited Ammo, Unlimited Dark Jak, Invulnerability, and Hero Mode in that order (ignore Hero Mode). These cheats do NOT disable trophies, and more importantly, can be activated at any time on the Vita version. No, they do not have to be visible, the name can still be all question marks. No, you don't need to have beaten the game to use them. No, you don't even need the right amount of precursor orbs, you can activate them all when you have 0 orbs, or 50, or any other number. All you have to do is hover over the correct cheat, and press x. You will hear the activation sound and you've now completely broken the game.

Is this an act of mercy from the developers of the port or just an oversight? The world may never know, but thankfully we now have a weapon in the fight against awful framerate.
