There's a VERY easy way to grab this trophy, though it may be annoying if you're the impatient type, but it is the quickest way to grind it out.
When you first have the possibility to free-roam and go to the Sunshine beach without any interruptions, there'll be a small fishing rod, walk up to it and press
to activate it. It'll then ask you
"Go Fishing" or "Another time", click
"Go Fishing". Once it loads up the fishing screen, it will once again ask you "Go Fishing", "Read instructions on how to fish", and
"Not now", click
"Not now" to return yourself to the beach.
Make sure you have some sort of bait on you, or you won't be able to use the fishing rod. What this basically does is refresh the beach, making a random item appear on it, there are many ways to refresh the beach, i.e go to downtown ryukyu then return to sunshine beach, but this is the quickest way. Now that you're on the refreshed beach, look near the water AND in the water to the right of the fishing rod, if there's no items, go look the left way. Once you collect whatever item is on the beach, repeat the fishing rod method to once again refresh the beach, rinse and repeat.
There will only be one item on the beach at a time. The boxes you find that have items within them, unfortunately do not count as garbage, and they'll appear more than anything. You will pop this trophy the moment you hit 30 pieces of garbage. You'll also obtain the other garbage trophy along the way of getting this one.
