This can be done at anytime. From the main menu go to network - Playstation network - replay channel - new replays - and from here you can view three replays of matches played by others on the PSN. It unlocks as soon as the third replay starts playing.
I also saved them before exiting but I'm not sure if this is a requirement of the trophy.
