You increase a character's loyalty by playing games using them. As you play, at the end of a round you will see a loyalty heart filling up - when it fills completely it will go up to the next level and unlock some additional skills for that player. Once you fill the level 3 heart, it will no longer increase and you will see that you have maximum loyalty - do this for one character and this trophy will unlock.
