To unlock the Open Road trophy in Rock Band 2 you must win a Bus during a contest. This will become available during your World Tour and is the second vehicle you can compete for.
Earn enough stars and fans and you will eventually unlock the Bus or Bust! Competition in the Establishment in Boston. Complete the set list to unlock the Bus and earn yourself the Open Road trophy.
