Cyberpunk 2077 can seem like an intimidating Platinum based on the estimated time it takes, and the number of missable trophies. All I can say is, you
really have to eff up to miss most of those. And for me at least, the time flew by. I enjoyed every second of this game.
The most important thing related to the least common ending, The Devil, involves saving Takemura during the mission Search and Destroy after you have been attacked by Arasaka forces. A grenade goes off, and the floor gives out. Make a mental note of that mission. You'll need to find a somewhat hidden staircase in order to even have the optional objective pop. He will be in the same room - 303 - as where you started.
There are some story lines with major characters that are all technically missable:
River Ward
Judy Alvarez
Panam Palmer
Rogue
Kerry Eurodyne
Johnny Silverhand's stuff
The only one that takes some extra effort and I personally needed to replay is Judy's. Specifically the mission Pisces. Bottom line, don't accept Maiko's offer. As long as Judy isn't pissed at you when you finish, you're fine. If she is, load the save before you talk to the Tyger Claws and try again.
You may also need to be careful not to reject Johnny when you're at his gravesite. This will impact both Rogue's storyline and that related trophy, but also The Sun ending. You really have to go out of your way to be a jerk, but use these responses if you're worried:
- Let's do something about that
- The guy who Saved My Life
- What do you want from me?
- OK. But as second chances go, this is your last.
- You were a real d*** in the beginning
- When you said you let down your friends...
- Smasher biz really got to her
- Yeah, I'll call Rogue After
A lot of guides sweat trophies like
and
I personally upgraded the hell out of Intelligence early on, and quick hacked everything. Constantly. If that's not how you want to play, pick one weapon type you enjoy and use the hell out of it. Always make sure that the Skill's related Attribute isn't maxed out. For example, if you have level 10 Reflexes, you can't get higher than level 10 Handguns.
And the money needed for all of the cars - 1,354,000 - is daunting, but I had about 600,000 left after I had them all and I didn't do anything tedious like the hacks I've seen online. I agree with the guides out there in that you shouldn't spend money unless you have to. Things like implants can wait. Loot everyone. And after you can't carry any more, sell everything you can. Ideally do this after every mission so you don't have to breakdown weapons. But if you do, so be it. Just craft the most expensive thing you can, and sell it.
I found Rough Landing super annoying as I did it way too late and the enemies had scaled up. I think it's in one of the XBox guides, but just incapacitate two enemies, and perform the Superhero Landing on them to kill them. I personally used the voodoo guys on rooftop north of The Chapel. But definitely not missable.
The Rough Landing trophy in Cyberpunk 2077 worth 29 pointsWhile Berserk cyberware is active, perform a Superhero Landing to kill or incapacitate 2 enemies.
