How to unlock the Story Star trophy

  This trophy is both time-consuming and annoying. In order to 'Star' a level, you have to earn all prizes (picking up prize bubbles to earn certain scores), collect all presents and place first in each event. There are 71 levels in Story mode you have to do this for.
  
  All levels can be completed on Casual difficulty.
  
  To save yourself many, many hours and retries of each level, I would highly recommend buying the 'Timesavers' DLC add-on as it will unlock 100% of all level content in the game for you, meaning you only have to worry about placing first in each event.
  
  The DLC only costs a couple of dollars/pounds and is definitely worth the purchase. Since this is the method I used in order to unlock this trophy, I can't provide tips for each event and/or mini-game - I can, however, tell you that this is considered no easy feat to unlock without the DLC.

  Ok, did this on Casual mostly first of all. Secondly, the trophy and the platinum popped when I beat "Ride Scroller" on planet Space Bass even though I still had 3 VS levels to do on this same planet (no medal on them at all).
  So I didn't beat all 71 levels and got the platinum.
  That being said, I think you only have to beat the levels that give you prizes like minigames and battles. VS doesn't give out prizes and I did buy the Time Savers DLC.

  As for how many levels you have to complete, there are certain types that don't award you with a Star upon completion (or give prizes or something of the sort, struggling to remember correctly - sorry) but I never noted the individual names so I'm going to leave that as is.

  Yeah, I just stared my first planet, I 1st placed everything that awards prize and goodies and skipped the others, which were all VS's, and got the trophy for staring a planet.
