Muggshot is the second of the Fiendish Five and will be the boss at the end of Mesa City. Unfortunately, you will not be able to get up close to him, as he is very well armed with his guns. So, you will need to take to the defensive stance by running around the stage grounds.
Stage 1: You will be in a small arena with nine crystals and eight mirrors surrounding it. Keep a crystal between you and Muggshot while using your cane to knock the mirrors around, sending light into the crystals. Once all of the outer crystals are lit up, the focused light will heat up Muggshot's guns. He will run to an upper floor to try and get another set of arms.
Stage 2: The arena is in the shape of a dollar sign ($) so you will have less room to keep a crystal between you and his shots. You still need to run around knocking the mirrors around, so you may want to use the Dive technique or jump constantly to avoid his shots in the open. By the end of this stage, he will move on up to the final floor.
Stage 3: He will be standing in the middle of a chandelier, surrounded by mirrors. This time, you will have to be even more careful, as you need to Spire Jump between one point and another. If you knock a mirror and keep it between you and Muggshot, he will be able to turn it right back around. Let him shoot, then turn the mirror around and proceed to the next. You should have enough time between one mirror and another before he shoots.
