How to unlock the Savior of the People trophy

To help you with this struggle, a few pointers I would suggest:

    * Only those you rescue from cages or from behind depot doors count for this trophy. Despite having multiple objectives that say to Rescue targets, the cages are all that matter. I cannot establish if this is including those in the Inhuman Condition.
    * Make sure you are near the cages when they are broken, so you can have it count for you. There were some mentions of the cages not counting for some in other mediums.
    * The most I have found has been around 3 to 5 per mission, specifically The Inhuman Condition and Day of the Remains.
    * Leave this trophy for the end. Make a challenge for yourself to do Day of the Remains five times a day or more, perhaps; this will ensure 15 rescues, meaning seven days would be your maximum requirement if you avoided rescuing them to this point.

EDIT: Outdated suggestion given the changes to the War Table on "Day of the Remains". I will attempt to adjust the guide accordingly.
    Old solution:

A suggested mission to do this on, if you've already cleared the "Day of the Remains" mission, would be the "And We're Back" mission. The reason for this lies in its repeatable state, and you might still be farming other miscellaneous trophies in the mean time while doing so.

Upon starting the mission, you'll be rescuing inhumans under attack. Once you've dealt with this, make sure you ping the area so you can see what other side objectives exist before continuing on with the main quest line in this map. While you won't know until you get close enough to them, what you're wanting to find are containers that you need to blow the power cells up to free the targets. You might only find one waiting for you throughout the side objectives, but fear not: by continuing the quest line to the end of the mission, you'll have to free three more prisoners at the very end. The reason this is suggested because there is a chance of this quest re-appearing during a War Table refresh.

This is a grueling grind of a trophy, so this should be looked for throughout playing the main missions and will be one of the last ones you'll need near the end, probably. If there's anything else I can try to fill you in on, let me know. Happy hunting!

KTKarona@Redfield364: It has been a bit, and I just mindlessly went back through it all. Checkpoints are made after you save them, so it doesn't help to reload from there. Avengers is loaded with a ton of stupid choices by the devs, so I'd just say keep at the mindless grind until it pops. I know there's one way to keep track of what counts: there is a daily mission that asks you to rescue prisoners; use that to determine whether they truly count as one or two. The mission doesn't always appear, but it's a good way to inform.

NaberiosUnless you catch this during your story playthrough, or reset your story progress & grind back to this mission, the recommended mission in this solution is outdated or just plain useless to players beyond this point in the game.

KTKarona@Naberios: do you have an update on what missions are fruitful for this since they have made the suggested mission unusable after completion? I've updated it on the reflection that the mission I suggested is one-and-done to include an alternative. Let me know if there's any other way I can be informative.

NaberiosI think you added the And We're Back option after I posted? If not, sorry I misread it. When you question the ones in Inhuman Condition possibly not counting, are you referring to all of them or just the last 4 in the final room? I'll give And We're Back a run to see how it plays out, but it seems like rescuing the first 3 in Inhuman Condition & then returning to the quinjet & restarting the mission might be the quickest way to grind this specific trophy since it's the first thing you can go do.

I seem to have gotten to the truly grindy grind part of the game at this point, and whatever changes the devs have made most recently seems to have made the most recent methods of reasonably grinding out things like character & power levels even worse. Example, the most recent power leveling guide (that I could find) had getting to 150 a fairly quick thing, but I spent several hours & only got my Black Widow from 30 to 70. I can imagine when devs make changes like these it can be frustrating for people who make guides & want to help others. I hope I didn't sound too insulting. I actually have two guide writing tabs open for other trophies because there's either no guide for it here on TT or they're outdated. If you have any thoughts on the leveling/power leveling thing, let me know.

Question: I still have my Hive missions to run. Are there ever any prisoner rescues in the Hives? Even it's only a few here & there, I'd probably work on combining them.

KTKarona@Naberios: I updated the guide reflecting the change that I didn't know happened with that other quest, since it wasn't useful enough anymore. For the equipment grind, I haven't played it since they had shortly released Hawkeye, so Spiderman and Black Panther may have brought other changes too to the end game grind. The higher the mission, the potentially better equipment, so if you have someone higher that could carry you through something higher, that might be the suggestion unless they've completely changed the system since when I played.

As for Hives, I don't remember there being prisoners in them. Scientists and other guys to protect, but given you have to free the prisoners to get this trophy, it doesn't help any. That and Hives were still buggy for so many back in the first year; I can't imagine they actually fixed things since then.

NaberiosYou can definitely rescue the 3 at the beginning of Inhuman Condition, return to the quinjet, rinse & repeat. While I didn't do only that, I did use that area for completing challenges I couldn't do in the HARM training (like defeating turrets, etc.). I'd back out after I was done with a particular hero or challenge, but always did the rescues. Just popped during the mission. One down, many other grindies to go.
