I would suggest trying this trophy after your first playthrough AND after you beat the challenge of the gods since after doing those two things you should be able to wear the "Dairy Bastard" costume which gives you infinite magic. It will make the game a walk in the park (keep spamming "Poseidon's Rage" and you will see what I mean).
BTW, try it in easy difficulty :)

boldfox85I had a feeling Challenge of the Gods was more important than just an extra trophy :D

AqueouslyNG+ on easy with the Dairy Bastard costume, took around 3:15. Did the Siren skip, but got the necklaces in the wrong order. Really, really easy once you know the solutions to the puzzles and roll+dash past the majority of enemies.

Although it may seem tough, doing a speed run on easy will snag you this trophy. Also, this should be done after you already completed the game so you are familiar with the puzzles, boss battles, etc.

A lot of enemies you do not need to fight, so just run (or roll) passed them. The game on easy is a breeze, so don't even bother with looking for gorgon's eyes or phoenix feathers.

PLEASE NOTE: In-game time is not the same as real time. The in-game time does not track the cut-scenes, pause menu's, etc. I did a run close to 6 hours, but the in-game time had me a little less than 4. If you want to see where you are in regards to time for this trophy, save the game, then go back in and save again. The in-game clock will appear displaying the total in-game time you have spent on that save.

If you need a marker, I beat the minotaur (the giant one) at 2 hrs and 30 mins (roughly), and got to Ares around 3 hrs 45 mins.

    All credit goes to:
'MrPTClassixX' on YouTube for making this beautiful video.

This guide uses the unlimited magic skin (cow) which is unlocked by completing the Challenge of the Gods. The video shows how to beat the story in under 4 hours (you have 5 hours for the achievement) without any glitches, despawns or commentary. Just you, the cutscenes (which don't count towards the time) and your unlimited magic.

My number 1 tip is to spam magic and check your time by saving at a save point, when you view your save points it will tell you your time that you have taken so far, remember... 5 hours!!
