Weirdly the glitch still works for this trophy.
If you save up everything you find in a level and at the end of it, backtrack to an U-Invent machine. Save it staring at the machine and then intvent everything you can.
Load your save and invent again, repeat this process until the trophy pops.
When it does pop, reload the save and invent what you'll actually use, you may now continue on your journey.
