There are 15 total levels in order to reach the level cap, all you need to do is defeat enemies and pick up the gold spheres they drop.
Your progress on the level will be in the bottom left hand corner whilst you're in a level.
I got this trophy after about 7 hours of gameplay, and I thought most things whilst on hard.
