Growth of a Legend Trophy GuideHard difficulty is a must for orders to count towards this trophy. (Options menu.)
See the Terminal \ connections \ yourself to see your order count for this trophy.
I find this trophy is best done in parallel to leveling up/connecting all delivery locations.
Full highway network, Zip-lines, Truck Long Range, and Reverse Trike long range are essential for time-focused deliveries, so better start these when you have all these available.
Probably you will have a lot of quantity and condition focused deliveries completed, and some delivery-time focused missing, and a lot of miscellaneous focused missing. I completed these in the end. Check the
symbol next to each order to find out its category.
Box with clock: delivery-time focused
Hand with three boxes: quantity focused
Box with 5 dots around: miscellaneous focused (retrieve from Mule camp, Preppers' orders etc.)
Two hands holding a box: condition focused order (use a truck etc.)
Here's a pic from reddit:
Sometime
falling during delivery even one time will cause a damage and you will only get A grade instead of S, and it won't count for the trophy. Therefore, it is a good idea to make a save before difficult paths to cross/climbing, and redo it from the save if you fall. Otherwise skip these, and focus on easier ones. I struggled with this for the collection type of orders in the mountains for the First Prepper, etc.
For delivery-time/miscellaneous focused orders with retrieval
from Mule camps, obviously clear the Mule camp on very easy difficulty, then switch back to Hard difficulty, before starting the order. Peter Englert's HG custom riot shotgun, and non-lethal rifles are great, also the remote detonation grenade launcher has sleeping ammo, which can also speed up (shoot on the head with a non-lethal weapon to kick them out for longer).
For other
delivery-time focused orders, make a zip-line network first, and finish the highways, before starting theses in a series.
A good idea is to build a
zip-line network from Mountain Knot City to the Doctor, Mountaineer (especially to cross the BT area on the way), Spiritualist, First Prepper, Weather Station, Photographer, Waystation North of Mountain Knot City, Heartman's lab, and from Heartman towards Geologist, Paleontoligst, Evo-Devo biologist.
Also, it is useful to make a zipline above the waterfall between Mama and the Weather Station.
Zip-lines degrade faster on hard difficulty, to make sure to use them after you built it. I found it is easier just to disassemble a degraded zip-line station, and build a new one from PCC Lv2, then hoarding resources to level it up. Especially chemicals are difficult to carry and find.
Pay attention that
snow samples melt when you get out of the mountain area. The only way to come around this is to use a Truck on the sunny areas of the map. For example park a Truck next to a Zip-line station in the snowy area, I found going by Truck up the mountain can be too time consuming.
Also, make a bridge across the river in front of the Doctor, to help larger deliveries with a Truck.
