All Swords Obtained!
In order to unlock this trophy, you need to have all swords unlocked on a single character. You cannot earn some swords on one, some on another. I recommend taking a look at my guide for the Platinum Trophy as a number of swords require a bit of coordination with your playthrough.
3D Dot Game Heroes (JP)Congratulations! The Congratulations! trophy in 3D Dot Game Heroes (JP) worth 560 pointsおめでとう!ここまで遊んでくれてありがとう!

The first step is to unlock all swords you possibly can. For this, you need to buy every sword, complete every [missable] event, and earn the best possible outcome from every mini-game. For this, I recommend you follow the amazing guide over at GameFAQs by EgHeadFool to the letter. He covers all of the missable events and tips for all the mini-games, which apply to the Japanese version just as much as the others. While the conditions to acquire the Moon Sword are different in the Japanese version, you still need to do all Events and get the best outcome on all mini-games for other swords anyway, so best to do it all in the one game anyway.

For the remaining swords, you need to amass a total of 88 Small Blocks in order to buy them from King Block. There is a total of 36 Small Blocks that can be found in a single game, for the remaining 52, well, that's where this guide comes in as the solution for the English language version differs from the Japanese one.

There are two legitimate methods to earning Small Blocks. Crystal Slimes and Blue Dragons have a very slim chance to drop a Small Block when killed. My best guess is around the 5% chance mark. In the USA/European version of the game, FROM difficulty setting has substantially more Crystal Slimes and Blue Dragons making farming much more reliable. FROM difficulty in the Japanese version doesn't add additional enemies, only increases the damage they deal. There is maybe a 5% chance for a Slime or Dragon to appear, assuming you don't kill all enemies in the area which stops them from respawning. To give an example, I farmed the Zombie Swamp area at the end of the game upgrading the Giga Sword. Over the course of an hour of dedicated farming, I came out with a grand total of 3 Small Blocks, making it a 15+ hour grind to get the remaining blocks needed.

The second legitimate method requires purchasing the "DLC Pack #1" (DLCパック第1弾). This DLC is included for free in the English versions, and is what most guides use for acquiring those remaining Small Blocks. This adds a handful of extra Block Defense stages, playable from the main castle after you've beaten the game.

The stage you'll want to do is Tirnaco's Errand (or: とらねこのおつかい), which rewards you with 2 Small Blocks for a Perfect Clear. While the DLC is only ¥257 [approx $2.50 c. 2018], you need a Japanese PSN account and credit, which I did not have.

What the Japanese version does have (that the English versions do not) is a glitch that lets you transfer all your obtained swords to a new playthrough. This not only makes subsequent playthroughs substantially easier, it also means that if you're careful, you can obtain all swords with very little grinding whatsoever.

The Weapon Transfer Glitch
The English versions of the game have "New Game+", which transfers your Small Blocks (and for the USA version, it transfers any swords purchased with Small Blocks too). The Japanese version has no New Game+ mode. The only way to carry anything over to a new game is via this glitch.

- Once you have an existing save you want to transfer....
- Start a New Game.
- Play through until you have your first Sword and Shield, Save Game in a new slot.
- Quit to the Main Menu (do not skip this step).
- Continue Game, choose your old (Complete) save.
- Press Start, choose Load Game and select your New Game.
- The New Game will load with all swords and upgrades from the previous save file.
- Make sure you save the game again to store the swords permanently.

All this glitch does is transfer your swords and upgrades. Gol, Small Blocks, Keys, Single-use Items, Bombs/Arrows are not transferred. For this reason, you will want to spend all of your Small Blocks on your Complete/Original save so that the swords transfer over into the new one.

While you'll have your Ancient Sword in your inventory before you go into the forest, you still need to collect it before you can enter the Grass Temple. Don't worry, you don't lose your upgrades for it.

My Strategy
Started with my "complete" full playthrough (recommend Normal difficulty):
- Follow the GameFAQs guide to the letter, unlocking all swords except any from King Block.
- Giga Sword maxed (farming got me 3 extra Small Blocks)
- I must have missed a chest somewhere, as this left me with 38 Small Blocks.
** Purchased Excalibur エクスカリバー (20) and Orihalcon オリハルコン (18)

Transferred all swords to a second playthrough (recommend FROM difficulty):
- Picked up all Small Blocks from the map and dungeons.
- Can safely ignore all events and mini-games.
- Reminder to unlock Spelunker difficulty by completing his event after you get the Flame Wand.
- Ended with 32 Small Blocks (I played a few rounds of Block Defense, just for fun).
** Purchased Gorgon Sword ゴーゴンのけん (5), Mage Sword マジカルソード (12) and Katana サムライソード (15)
Be careful to only purchase swords you need, King Block doesn't know what you have! It is possible to buy a sword you already have!!

Transferred the swords to another playthrough (recommend Spelunker difficulty):
- Maxed Giga Sword will make this playthrough an absolute breeze.
- Only need to end up with 18 Small Blocks for the remaining two Swords, so don't go out of your way to get them all.
** Purchased Luck Sword ぎゃくてんソード (8) and Star Sword むてきソード (10)

The Trophy unlocks as soon as you buy the final sword. The inventory screen should now be complete. The real trick is to make sure you spend as many of your Small Blocks as you can. If you come up short, don't bother farming the last few you need, just transfer the weapons to a fourth playthrough. On Normal difficulty with the Giga Sword, you can clear the Desert Temple and get the Wire Rod needed to visit King Block in under an hour, with 15 or so Small Blocks on your direct path to get there.
