Go to Options -> Controller -> Change Driving Controls -> Steering Controls = Motion Sensor Function. Now you are all set to get the achievement.
There are several ways to do it. The easiest is to chapter select an Eliminator race. Just sit there and don't do anything, and you will be eliminated and the trophy will pop.
If that doesn't work for you, then go to Wreckreation then Quick Race. Set to 1 lap, and then just work to complete the race. You don't have to come in first, just finish the lap. The trophy is yours.
