In mission 9 you will be flying an attack plane and have to protect your allied bombers by shooting down enemy planes. In total there are two waves of enemy airplanes. The first wave has 8, the second wave 12. So there are 20 planes total and you must personally destroy 12 of them. Do this on the easiest difficulty and be as fast as possible, as your allies bring down the enemy planes quickly. Reload the checkpoint if you are close to starting the second wave but have a low number of kills.

A_Tennis_GiraffeI'd just like to add that you're really going to want to get 5 planes MINIMUM in the first wave, but if you can manage 6 then you've really set yourself up well for the second wave. If you don't get at least 5, reload checkpoint and try again until you do. You'll then get a checkpoint at the start of the second wave which you can reload if you screw up early on that second wave (which I did a couple of times before getting the trophy finally). Getting 5 or 6 in the first wave is the more difficult part in my opinion though.
