This game has a few ridiculous trophies, and this one might be the worst of the bunch. I honestly don't know if this is physically possible without a script (at least not for me, I couldn't get past 20
). So, it might be kind of close to cheating, but screw jump rope. I can't take credit for any of this, but here's the setup I used by cobbling together instructions from around the web:
1) Install PS Remote Play & Configure your PS4/5:
https://remoteplay.dl.playstation.net/remoteplay/lang/en/ind...2) Download & Install AutoHotKey:
https://www.autohotkey.com/3) Download & Install SciTE4AutoHotKey:
https://www.autohotkey.com/scite4ahk/4) Download the script (courtesy of Septomor):
https://github.com/septomor/FF9-Jump-Rope-Script5) Connect your laptop/PC to the same network as your PlayStation. It really helps to have both using a wired connection to reduce lag.
6) Connect to your PlayStation using Remote Play, start FF9 and have Vivi standing ready to jump with the "0 jumps" prompt displayed on the screen.
7) Run SciTE4AutoHotKey as an adminstrator and open the Jump.ahk script. This may sound risky, but the script looks pretty safe to me and the auto-adjustments it makes when the jumping fails won't work without admin rights for some reason.
8) Click the play button in the SciTE4AutoHotKey menu bar to start the script. This will pop-up a little window with some options. Choose Septomor's script and click the Start button.
9) Sit back and watch. Hopefully it will only take a few tries for the script to auto-correct itself enough to get through 1000 jumps. Again, this is going to be highly dependent on the stability of your network connection, so if you have a crappy LAN at home, this might take a few tries and some luck.
