  After finishing Zone 4, defeating Dr. N. Gin, and receiving the bazooka, head back to Level 1: Toad Village (Zone 1).
  
  They'll be a chicken just about within range of your bazooka immediately upon starting the level. Shoot it with your bazooka. You'll then need to die/be killed by the upcoming goat, by jumping into a hole, or whatever way you fancy most. When the level reloads, repeat this process 4 more time times.
  
  I personally had some extra time to test if you can finish the level, reload it, and kill the chicken 5 times that way. No dice. Though it doesn't appear to matter whether you're playing as Coco or Crash, it does seem like you actually need to die to reset the level and keep your progress. (Have not tested death by Time Trial.)

  Can confirm, this works with Time Trial - this would be the best way as you don't lose lives.
