This is not an easy trophy as you have to play cautiously. Especially with that fact it is easy to get stuck on the scenario and you can't always easily roll away. I died multiple times due to this.
First thing to note is, you can back up your save to USB or the cloud whenever you hit a checkpoint. Personally, I would play through a level and then back up my save, unless I found I died often at a point, then I would back up at the checkpoint before there to save the longer replay back to that point.
If you are close to death, you can pause using the touch pad and quit to menu. This will allow you to load back up at the last checkpoint. Make sure you don't return to village, as you will lose the progress in the level (but not the XP and items gained).
I went for the Bow tree as I wanted to get kills from a distance. I used Light armor so I could move quickly and put my first 10 rank points in to Armor to help keep me alive.
As you have probably already played through the game once or twice by this point, you may think the best tactic is to roll past most enemies unless they are required to progress. This unfortunately leaves you very under-leveled and makes it a lot harder. I actually found I had to do some hunts to increase my level just to get through some stages.
One of the key improvements you want on your gear is Slay Chance. Slay Chance will instantly kill an enemy if it falls in your favour. It doesn't work on all enemy types, but does on a lot of them. The higher the chance, the easier it will be. The is almost essential for fighting Priests since they can heal quicker than you can kill them with a bow. I found, unless I got lucky and they were frozen from my hits, I had to get a slay kill on them.
I made sure to collect Artifacts on my way through so I could get the Bow artifact weapon. You unlock the first piece on the second level (same map you hunt the wolves on). Second piece on the 13th level, and the final piece on the 25th level. You must be rank 28 to use it. I was rank 27 when I reached it, so I did a hunt map to boost my rank first. Once I picked it up, I went back to the boat and added 2 runes to it, and then started level 25 again. The difference of being level 27 with my old bow, to being level 28 with the artifact bow was huge. I was struggling at first and died a few times on level 25. Once upgraded though, I was flying through the level.
