This trophy can only be achieved in route B and C while playing as 9S.

When Emil is driving around the city ruins, try shooting him to make him to stop. Talk to him and he will mention that he lives deep underground and you should come visit.

To get to his underground house, go to the ruined city ruins (must be after the Goliath battle) and you should see a hollowed out pipe with water flowing out of it. It's directly above the hole that leads to ruins cave. You'll have to jump from the top to get into it.

Once inside, be very careful as all the enemies are level 50. You can run past them and at the very end you should find a door with a red or green light. If it's red then you haven't spoken to Emil yet. Once inside you will find an Emil mask which you can pick up (the pod will warn you of stealing).

Once you obtain the Emil mask, head back to the surface of the city ruins and talk to Emil again. He will mention that someone stole from his underground house. Go back to his house and you will find a locked chest that can be hacked. Hack it and obtain the Emil head. When you try to leave, you will be attacked by Emil. Simply defeat him and the trophy will pop.

To win against Emil, I would recommend being level 80+ however it is doable at a lower level. He will likely kill you in one hit but fortunately he has low HP. The key is being able to survive one hit, so equip as many HP increase, def increase chips and use enhancement items. If you can survive one hit then it will be a breeze, otherwise you will have to defeat him without getting hit. There's no trick to beating him other than avoiding the projectiles and waiting for an opening. He will start using a laser beam attack which can be dodged through if timed correctly.

Note: This trophy is glitched if you fight him in route C as 9S. It simply won't unlock. You can always fight him again via chapter select so it's not missable but I would recommend doing it during route B when 2B is with you. You also don't need to defeat Emil in the desert.
