Blasteroids is the very beginning of chapter 3 so when you fail you are just one loading screen away from trying again. If you take to much damage in this minigame you will get kicked out and moved on in the story to the second game, which makes it one try per loaded game.

Now to actually get the trophy you need to destroy all the asteroids, them hitting you doesn't count and you would need to try again. There are several different kinds of asteroids, which have different effects when shot and make them a different priority to shoot.
Green: Very start of the minigame there are several of these which don't move at all. (One Shot)
Blue: Fairly speedy rocks that need to be dealt with before the larger rocks. (One Shot)
Pink: Extremly fast and tiny rocks, should always be first shot. (One Shot)
Orange: These move slower than blue rocks, but explode into 2 blue rocks. (One Shot)
White: There is only one of these, moves very slow and takes many shots to destroy, should be last one you destroy for the phase.(Many Shots, when it's the size of a pink rock is the final one)
Brown: Moves same speed as orange but makes one pink rock every shot, should destroy after all regular pink rocks are gone. (5 Shots)
Yellow: There are a few of these fast moving diagonal rocks that don't aim towards you and will explode if you don't destroy them. (One Shot)
Red: This is the final rock, the larger parts take 4 shots, the rest take 2 shots, and the smallest rocks that don't split into more rocks take 1 shot. the larger the rock the slower it moves, easiest way i found to do it was to take the first split and destroy one half entirely and then move on the other.
