This trophy is tied to the Secondary Quest Collect 'Em All. When you complete this quest, this trophy will pop.

This is a lengthy and grueling collectible trophy, with 12 confirmed missible cards tied to other quests throughout the game. So if you want this guy, you're in for a long haul.

There are a few different ways you can collect gwent cards.
1. Base deck you receive when introduced to gwent
2. Gwent quests (with missable cards)
3. Secondary quests (with more missable cards)
4. Winning against opponents
5. Purchasing (with one missable card)

Whenever you unlock a new area, make it a priority to play and win against every player you come across and buy any and every card they might be selling. Many quests can cause gwent players to leave or die, potentially preventing you from unlocking this trophy. I followed those two simple rules and still didn't unlock this until I was level 35 and had finished 99% of the other quests in the game. That being said, I've heard of people unlocking this as early as level 15, as soon as they get to Skellige.

There are 199 cards total in the base game, which excludes cards from the two expansions. Any cards from DLC do not count towards this trophy and neither duplicate cards, meaning you only need to collect one of each of the 119 unique cards in the base game.

The cards are divided into four factions, listed below with the number of cards in each deck.

Northern Realms - 37 cards
Nilfgaard - 38 cards
Scoia'tael - 37 cards
Monsters - 40 cards

Leaders - 16 (four each)
Neutral - 31 cards

Base Deck
This is the starter set for playing gwent that you receive when you're first introduced to gwent in the White Orchard area. These are all common cards and can all be checked off your list without worry as you'll always have them and they'll always be available.

Gwent Quests
Throughout the game you'll pick up these special Gwent Quests. These come from notice boards or finding and challenging the people the quest will send you to. There are five total in the game, all listed below, and organized as follows:

Player Name - Location - Card Reward

Some of these are MISSABLE if you proceed too far in other quests. Do them as soon as they are available. If the person you are supposed to play is gone/dead, then their card should be dropped near where you were supposed to play them. However, it seems that this isn't always true. If a person on the list is not willing to play when you encounter them, keep playing and checking back occasionally. The challenger will likely become available at a later point after another quest has been completed.

Secondary Quests
There are also side quests that will earn you gwent cards. For the ones in Novigrad, make sure you complete all of the secondary quests in the city as they come up before continuing with the main story. Do that and you'll get them all, but if you go too far in the main story, you can miss some.

Secondary Quest: A Dangerous Game
- John Natalis
- Isengrim Faoiltiarna
- Fringilla Vigo

Secondary Quest: A Matter of Life and Death (Find the ! once you're at the party)
- Milva
- Vampire: Bruxa
- Dandelion

Secondary Quest: Following the Thread
- Nekker. Card is looted off a named enemy in Skellige. Others have had it magically appear in their inventory. Failing that, see if Lambert will play you when you meet him at the Nowhere Inn. If all 3 methods fail, restart the quest and try again.

Secondary Quest: High Stakes
- Foltest, The Steel-Forged
- Emhyr var Emreis, The Relentless
- Francesca Findabair, Queen of Dol Bathana
- Eredin, Destroyer of Worlds

Secondary Quest: Shock Therapy
- Iorveth. This quest is located at Gedyneith, the home of the druids on the main island.

Contract: The Phantom of Eldberg
- Buy all the cards from the innkeeper in Arinbjorn before you complete this quest. They become missable after it's done.

There are tons of random NPCs throughout the world that you can challenge to a game of gwent. Anytime you find a vendor of any kind, you should talk to them and see if there's an option to play gwent against them. More often than not, they have a deck and are willing to play. Beat them for the first time and you'll win a card from a pool of random cards.

Having bad luck? If you've beaten most of these guys and you need just a couple cards, you can save your game and beat them over and over until you get a card you need (as opposed to a duplicate).

There are also more players than cards in the random pool. So if you can't find one, you can safely move on.

Pro tip: save before each match. If a player doesn't reward you with a card after your first match, reload and try again. A few didn't give me cards on my first win, but they did on my second after I reloaded. They all give cards so make sure you get them.

As for where to find these guys, I used this interactive map website. It lists Gwent Players as one of the markers on the map and although these don't show up in the game itself, you can still check them off on this site as you go. The map saves its state via cookies too, meaning you can check things off and return to the site later and your progress will be retained. You can even download a back up save to make sure you keep your progress. Link below.

Buying Cards
Lastly, you can buy many cards in the game. Always talk to traders to see if they have cards, especially the ones that are part of the gwent quests. There are some vendors that even sell cards despite not playing themselves. Cards are typically cheap so I just bought every card I ever came across. A few quests will make some traders inaccessible, but never without giving you a chance to buy cards from them first.

Here's a list of the ones I've found so far.

White Orchard
Innkeeper - White Orchard - Town (During Prologue only, replaced by Merchant below)
Merchant - White Orchard - Next to Bridge in Town (After Prologue, in Patch 1.04)

Merchant - Velen - Midcopse
Quartermaster - Velen - Crow's Perch
Trader - Velen - Crow's Perch
Merchant - Velen - Lindenvale
Merchant - Velen - Claywich (Must rescue from bandit camp to the SE, a decent distance away)
Stjepan - Novigrad - Oxenfurt
Oliver - Novigrad City - Kingfisher Inn
Marquise Serenity - Novigrad City - Whorehouse
Innkeeper - Novigrad City - Golden Sturgeon
Merchant - Novigrad City - Just South East of St. Gregory's Bridge
Innkeeper - Novigrad - Cunny of the Goose
Innkeeper - Novigrad - Seven Cat Inn

Jonas the Innkeep - Ard Skellig - Kaer Trolde Harbor
Innkeeper - Ard Skellig - Arinbjorn
Innkeeper - Faroe - Harviken
Innkeep - An Skellig - Urialla Harbor
Innkeep - Spikeroog - Svorlag

That's all I've got. Good luck and happy hunting!
