    I'm not sure if this would be "finding" since it's Drake taking notes on what he finds.
    But the first note Drake takes is automatic as you get into the graveyard in Scotland (after all the gravel-sliding).

    BeardedScot86You take a journal entry not a journal note at the graveyard. My first journal note was in the cave under the cathedral. I had to loot it off a skeleton, so it isn't even a guarantee to find it.
