After completing the game once, the world level rises. From that moment you van choose assignments to complete, they're on the second tab on the world map (while selecting a level).
You can choose 3 at a time, completing them gives you gems and a trophy once you complete 20 of them. You get 6 new assignments every day, so you should be able to complete this in 4 days.
