Although the other comments here are valid and useful indeed the biggest hint/tip you can get is turning on invincibility in the 'Cheats'-menu under 'Extras' allowing you to boost/drive through tnt's without being stunned.

AbeLogan311Turning the "slow" game speed cheat is also a big help. I finally got it after multiple tries with both cheats. I'm just not that good at racing, I guess lol. But thank you! Hopefully getting my first platinum on this game.

This is a VERY tight time. But I bet done correctly you can get under 1:32. It's NO Where near the other race, where you can get 10-20 seconds under.

There's a trick that makes this far easier. After some number of gold bolts (under 13 I believe) you unlock game speed under cheats. Cheats don't seem to disable trophies? I would learn the course, learn it well, and then turn on slow speed. Go EXTREMELY careful but make every turn right. You'll want to hit the boost circles you can. stay on the high roads, and avoid the ground when you can.

    "But I'm still having problems".

You're right. There's yet one more trick you will probably have to use. "Tricks" Hold the Right stick forward or backwards and do a flip. Hold it longer and you can do two flips or three flips on a jump. Each flip gives you more boost.

Any time you go off a major jump you want to be tricking. You NEVER want to land a trick poorly as it's almost as bad as hitting a bomb. But if you do two or three flips. You'll gain a boost. You should have almost enough boost to constantly be triggering the boost, and that's what you should do. Land a jump? Boost. About to jump? Boost. In the middle of the jump and about to have 3 full boosts? Boost! The key is to never be maxed on the boost, and try to never slow down too much.

Speaking of hitting bombs. Don't. And falling off the track? Don't. Just quit the race if you do either and restart.

If you do all this, you should be able to beat it in a couple hours at the most. It's probably the hardest trophy in the game, and yet it's still quite doable with these steps.

This will take some practice, learn the course well. I will give a few hints which helped me shave off a few seconds or gave me some boost. I'd say this took about 15-20 runs to get it. I did it 34.6

After the first ramp on the left, as soon as you land, start cutting over to the right for the ramp to the upper route. This will shave off precious milliseconds by taking the inside route.

If you take the big ramp in the middle of the race that launches you into the giant stack of boxes, aim for a corner of the stack. You get little bits of boost from the boxes and by taking a corner, then middle, then corner, this could give you enough to fill a boost meter each lap. Boost as soon as you hit the ground after that jump.

Right after that where you have to weave through explosive stacks, I didn't pick a pre-planned route, I just went whichever way didn't require any wide turns. Keep in mind there is rows of boxes here as well, which could again give you a boost.

Now the end, this is the only thing I planned. I used the high ramp on the right for lap 1 & 2. On the final lap, I took the left path, which hopefully will have a big stack of boxes which should fill a boost meter and burn that boost immediately. Jump the explosive boxes & hit the small ramp which should get you over the finish line quickly.
