To get this trophy, you need to catch five wild animals/creatures, that would normally attack you on sight and domesticate them with a beta wave emitter.

I will describe my way to achieving this trophy.

First off, choose which animal you wish to catch:

Mole Rat, Mutant Hound, Insect, Deathclaw, Mirelurk, Radscorpion or Yao Guai
I have read, it is best to catch one sort of creature, otherwise, they might tear each other apart, before you reach your goal, but this only as aside note, i haven't tried that out.

Furthermore i chose the Mirelurks, so i cannot confirm this trophy will be achieveable with any of the other creatures i listed, especially the insects....but i guess the others should work just the same as the Mirelurks.

Onto the list of available cages and the necessary materials needed for their construction, the number in brackets shows you the material needed for five cages:

Mole Rat Cage (Small):
Copper 1 (5)
Radroach Meat 4 (20)
Steel 6 (30)

Mutant Hound Cage (Small):
Copper 1 (5)
Brahmin Meat 2 (10)
Steel 6 (30)

Insect Cage (Medium):
Copper 2 (10)
Mole Rat Meat 4 (20)
Steel 10 (50)

Deathclaw Cage (Large):
Copper 4 (20)
Gear 4 (20)
Yao Guai Meat 4 (20)
Steel 16 (80)

Mirelurk Cage (Large):
Copper 4 (20)
Gear 4 (20)
Mirelurk Egg 4 (20)
Steel 16 (80)

Radscorpion Cage (Large):
Copper 4 (20)
Gear 4 (20)
Stingwing Meat 4 (20)
Steel 16 (80)

Yao Guai Cage (Large):
Copper 4 (20)
Gear 4 (20)
Radstag Meat 4 (20)
Steel 16 (80)

Next up you will need materials for the Beta Wave Emitter, a switched power pylon and a large generator...

For the Beta Wave Emitter and large generator though you will ALSO need certain perks!
The two perks for the emitter are "Animal Friend" and "Wasteland Whisperer", both only on Rank 1 fortunately.
For the large generator you will need "Science" at Rank 1 also.
So you either do some quests, kill some wasteland enemys or craft some stuff to level up, if need be.

Onto the materials needed:

Beta Wave Emitter:
Aluminum 8
Circuitry 3
Copper 5
Crystal 4
Nuclear Material 5
Rubber 2

Switched Power Pylon:
Ceramic 1
Copper 3
Rubber 1
Steel 2
Wood 2

Generator (Large):
Aluminum 12
Copper 10
Gear 6
Nuclear Material 3
Rubber 4
Screw 5

Now that you know the materials needed, pick an empty settlement. No settlers, no companions, no defensive weaponry or anything like that should be around or it might cross your plans for this trophy.
And i don't know if it is necessary to be in a distinct area for the creatures you wish to capture.

I made camp at Kingsport Lighthouse on the eastern coastline, which has beds available.
If you pick a settlement without beds, you will need the materials needed for this too:

Sleeping Bag:
Cloth 3

Start building your equipment. Once you have build the cages, the emitter, the generator and the power pylon (and maybe your sleeping bag), you want to connect all cages to the power pylon and from the pylon to the generator. The pylon should be switched on. If not, switch it on.
Do NOT connect the emitter yet, save your game (just in case) and hop into bed for 24 hours.
You'll hear a loud clanging noise, when the cages close.
I first tried to check on the cages but found myself fighting mostly and probably killing too many enemies for them to take the bait of he other cages. So i reloaded my save before starting my hunting and tried again.
This time, i immediately hopped back into bed after ending the previous cycle. Try that as many times as possible before you go to hook up the emitter and check on the cages.
I then switched into build mode, ran over to the emitter and hooked it up to the generator directly. Surrounded by several mirelurks and kings and killing them i accidentally hit one of the cages but was able to pacify the escaped king (when you point your gun at him, it tells you to press x underneath the creature name to pacify).
After opening the other cages by flipping the switch, where ONLY the cages were connected to, TADAA, the trophy popped!
Maybe you get the trophy even if not all cages are filled but you are able to pacify other enemies surrounding you and then opening the cages too.

Happy hunting and i hope this helps a little, cause all the guides over at TA i found wanting.....
