While it can be easily obtained through natural play (especially if you're going for level 50) there are a few ways to make this a quicker and easier acquisition.

Firstly it's important to note how this game is very much a MOBA style and kills are not intended to come by as commonly as something like FPS games, teamwork is of great importance and you're unlikely to be getting a killfeed of 3 or 4 kills out there on your own unless you happen to face a bunch of smaller ships and land every shot you take while avoiding most of theirs.

The best type of ship to use would be a combat ship, while there are some awesome scouts (I've managed at least the 10 streak with the Razor and Marksman) they have very low health so even though their mobility and decent damage can serve you well it takes just a handful of hits to kill you and reset your progress, it's possible to make that one small slip up that instakills you, even against a less skilled player. You want a ship that's more lenient on your errors if you're struggling to obtain this.

Out of all the combat ships I personally recommend the Leviathan because of the swarm weapon and sniper shot. First and foremost the sniper on the Leviathan is the highest burst of damage possible (I think it's higher than the Bulldog bomb but regardless that has a timer and is hugely unreliable anyway), this means you are far more likely to get the last hit on the enemy as opposed to getting an assist in team fights. Whilst it takes a second to charge up it'll kill pretty much every type of wounded enemy and it's common to get 2 or 3 kills back to back quickly in team fights because you'll likely be dong that final burst of damage, many ships can be destroyed before they even drop below half health!
Secondly the swarm weapon, whilst it should NOT be a priority to upgrade early on (sniper and core should come first!) it helps make light of some of the faster ships that get in the way as well as allowing sustained damage on fleeing damaged opponents, again increasing the odds of getting the last hit. As well as this, in 1 on 1 scenarios it'll stop the enemy recovering shield whilst you charge up each sniper shot allowing you chew through their health.

As a combat ship you'll be slow but you'll gain a huge bonus to health and shields for every upgrade point in core so it's important you use some points there as survivability is obviously important to maintaining a streak. Try to upgrade your core after each upgrade of your sniper until both are maxxed out. If you get lucky with teammates or have a friend to play a healer you'll have no worries staying alive, especially if you stick with the group or play defensively on your outposts, in cases like this you may prioritise the sniper first rather than balancing between the sniper and core to get some easier early game kills.
