In the present, you'll find Big Ed peacefully interacting with his stamp collection. In order to progress, you need a stamp from it, but he's not willing to part with it peacefully. You can either try to exchange your TEXTBOOK (by default in Bernard's inventory) with the STAMP ALBUM. If you upset him already to get the stamp, give him the album back, then try to do it again. If you give him the album back, you'll unlock another trophy:
