I did this shortly after arriving on Zarard. There's a booby-trapped chest right beside the save point inside the Galaxy Corp. building (where you're going to get your visa renewed). Save first then try the chest. If you fail, re-load and try again. I don't know if the chests are always the same, but that chest's trap was the third choice on the list for me.
