One trick will enable you to obtain this trophy super easily. Completing burglaries until you get $10k from them will give you unlimited sprint. This sounds time consuming but it really isn't. If you do the burglaries in Las Venturas it is a richer neighborhood with more high value items so it takes much less time to hit that mark.

There is a boxville truck, which is the closest one to do burglaries in Las Venturas ,sitting just west of the eastern most highway next to the southernmost on/off ramps. Once you have the truck drive north on the highway to get to Prickle Pines neighborhood (where gf Millie lives).

Wait until 20:00 and start burglaries by clicking cn_RS. Next find a house with a yellow entrance arrow at the door and park the back of the truck as close as you can. Once inside crouch to stay quiet and find an item (TV, stereo, microwave etc.) Once you have the item run outside. The noise level and waking up the occupant doesn't matter as long as you are outside before the 10 second cop timer expires. Once you place the item in the truck go back inside. The occupant will reset and be asleep again so repeat the same process.

This saves tons of time and enables you to get a lot more items. With some luck on high end item spawns you can potentially do this in one burglary spree. However avg is probably 2-3 times. Make sure you are in the truck by sunrise. You do not have to drive to the lockup by sunrise as long as you are in the truck you will get an additional 5 hours to drop off the goods.

It sounds complicated but its actually very simple and doing this will give you unlimited sprint which will enable you to win the triathlon quite easily.

Alternatively, you can also use the stationary bike at any gym to increase your stamina. I would recommend maxing it out but you need to at least get your stamina to 50% to even have a chance of winning the race.

In addition you also need to increase your cycling stat I recommend at least to 50%. This slightly increases your control over the bike and decreases the likelihood that you fall off in a minor crash.

Once you are ready you can find and start the Beat the Cock marathon at Santa Maria Beach, Los Santos. It is only available on weekends , and you must also have completed the "Green Sabre" story mission for the event to unlock. You can check the current day of the week by holding cn_right at any point during the game.

Once you enter the red marker the race will start. The first part is a swim across the Los Santos inlet. Pay attention to the markers in front of you so you know where to turn. Don't worry if you fall behind as the other racers are fast swimmers and seem to have unlimited sprint. You will most likely catch up at the end of the swim.

Once you exit the water grab a bike as fast as possible and start the bike leg of the race. Try to go as fast as possible but watch your speed on the downhill sections that curve, as it is easy to go too fast downhill and crash which will set you back further than simply slowing down.

The last section of the race is the run. You should have a comfortable lead at this point. However it is still possible for the other racers to catch you especially on the home stretch of the run. This is where the unlimited sprint trick I mentioned earlier comes in really handy. Once you cross the finish line in 1st place the trophy will unlock.

TheHamsterLVWhat about the marathon itself? Where is it located, when is it available? You know things like that. This "guide" needs more work...

Ryzo_ArashikageTy for the comments guys. I apologize but I was unaware that the 2nd half of the solution did not post. Your comments made me aware of it and I edited the solution to include the original second half. This should address the concerns that you mentioned in your comments. Thanks again.
