How to unlock the Home Sweet Home trophy

You can't finish Toan's house until after you pick up the kitty on Floor 8 of the dungeon.

*Update*
I never had any trouble with this trophy myself, but from looking around at other sites after a comment here, apparently this one can be glitchy. Based on the quote I put in the comments, don't put down anything in Norune Village until you have kitty on floor 8 then complete and set down Toan and Renee's house only to avoid the possible glitch. Save first so that you can try again if something goes wrong.

I seem to have some technical problems unlocking it... I am at Floor 9, the house seems to be complete but no Trophy. Anyone else any tipps?

Have you rotated the house until you get the new message from Renee about the sun? That's the only thing I can think of. I did some looking around, and apparently this trophy can be glitchy. I found this at another site:

on my primary character, home sweet home glitched. i typically set out houses before they are complete and arrange them as i get the residents and requests collected. somehow, home sweet home never popped for me. i am not sure why exactly, but i started a new character and only put my house with renee down, talked to her and then completed it and the trophy popped instantly.

Thank you for your help. I rotated the house, so Renee seems to be happy right now... I think I will complete the game first and then try it again with a new character...
