While this is story related and indeed cannot be missed, I will try to provide a detailed account of how to unlock this trophy.
DISCLAIMER: I will only be posting the solution that worked for
ME and my
PLAY STYLE! There are other solutions. Feel free to add them.
I will discuss
Rosewood in 4 parts
1. Victoria's Ward
2. Orphanage Halls - ground and first floors
3. Retrieving Fuses on lower and higher difficulties
4. Finding and Eliminating Wade
Part one is retrieving
Victoria from her
Ward.- 1. There will not be any threats in this section until you get near the exit, so for now explore room by room.
- 2. Thugs will be waiting near the exit which is an elevator. Just hide behind some curtains on the left and wait until they pass.
- 3. When the coast is clear, get in the elevator to see a cutscene.
- 4. Get to the roof. Grab onto a ledge but be mindful especially on higher difficulties to let the thugs pass before climbing up on the ledge.
- 5. On the right hallway there will be someone patrolling on higher difficulties.
Now you should be on the
First Floor- 1. You should try to subdue a thug nearby for a Henchmen disguise there should be one near the stairs leading to the ground floor.
- 2. The thugs will be torturing someone up ahead near the elevator. If you care about challenges then yes, save him. If not he'll die if you move on. Head to the right room. I avoided the left path because it was heavily patrolled.
- 3. I sneaked past a thug who was monitoring things near some stairs against a railing but you can easily subdue him too if you want.
Now you'll be on the
Ground Floor.
- 1. Locate a Ventilation Shaft nearby and use it.
- 2. You should now be near the Canteen and Chapel.
- 3. Next to the Chapel is a Storeroom where you can find your First Fuse. Only if you're in Easy or Medium mode.
- 4.The Chapel is heavily guarded on higher difficulties. But this is where you'll find a Shotgun
Be aware that the Fuses change location depending on difficulty. If on Easy or Medium there will be a specific location but in Hard Mode on up they'll be in a DIFFERENT location. That being said the
First Fuse in
Hard Mode can be found back on the previous floor. Remember the
Tortured Guard? there is a small room close by. The
fuse is under a bulletin board next to a radiator.
The
Second Fuse In
Easy Mode is in the exact same room as the
First Fuse In
Hard Mode but it will be on a
Table which is by a Filing cabinet.
Remember the ventilation shaft I mentioned up above? You can get the
Third Fuse on
Easy Mode just wait in the shaft until the thugs leave to go to a meeting. You'll be near the
Canteen in this room. The
Fuse can be found on a table near a bookshelf and trash can.
The
Last Fuse on
Easy Mode can be a bit tricky because it's guarded by 2 thugs. It's on a counter in the lab.
The
Second Fuse in
Hard Mode can be found in the
Lab where the
Last Fuse was in
Easy Mode but closer to the thugs. This room is loaded with enemies. I ran out of instinct so you will need to be very quick or you're going to need to try and take some thugs down as quietly as you can.
The
Third Fuse in
Hard Mode is in the
Nursery? where the pit ball room is. Just wait until the 2 thugs turn away and very quickly grab the fuse.
The
Last Fuse in
Hard Mode is on the
Ground Floor and you will either need a
disguise with some instinct or you will need some
throwing objects for a distraction. Because the
Fuse is at the
Reception Desk you can use the desk as cover if needed This is also where you can find the
Evidence.
Now you need to
Restore Power. So return to the
Ground Floor with the
Four Fuses and go to the hallway that's left from the stairs and reception. Now just go to where you see red lighting and breaker boxes. Just put the
Fuses in the correct places and pull the
Lever.We should be in
Central Heating now.
- 1. Try to have the Henchmen disguise or throwing objects ready if you are on hard mode. You can even use instinct if you have any because there will be at least 3 thugs in this area to deal with in the starting room.
- 2. In the next hallway be ready for more Distractions or you can simply take down the couple of thugs here to obtain the Evidence It will be against the wall on top of some containers.
- 3. This next part is trickier on Hard Mode. Try your best to avoid confrontation here as there are a lot of enemies. Sneak past anyone you can and keep moving along the hallway.
- 4. Stop in an area along the way where there is a right light along the walls and an Upper Balcony Climb up it.
- 5. Again on Hard Mode there will be additional thugs up here so be very careful. It's very easy to get spotted up here. I used cover along the railings.
- 6. Go to the very end of the balcony and climb down when you can.
- 7. If you still have the Henchmen disguise you can use instinct to get to to the exit which is a Blue Door.
After a brief mini cutscene, now we are on our way to find
Wade.
I will state right now that I did the confrontation method. Meaning I went right to his hiding spot and shot him.
Be aware you are going to be ambushed by 3 or 4 thugs with him. so remember use instinct here: Hold
then mark the guards heads and mark
Wade too and then hit
If there is any left over just shoot the rest before they kill you.
As soon as Wade himself is down the trophy will pop. After a long cutscene mission will be complete!
