  This also works for Uncharted 2 and Uncharted 3 Remastered
  You must beat the game on either hard or crushing before doing this.
  
  

  When the prompt to restart checkpoint shows up after changing the difficulty and pressing circle, just press Options on your controller, do NOT actually restart the checkpoint.
  
  Test from me that confirms it works back screen is that part that shows it popping

  Another confirmation that this work perfectly, was genuinely easier than my crushing playthrough with the one shot kills and unlimited ammo activated.

  This does work on UC1, however the tweak glitch has been patched out of 2 and 3, if you have a disc copy you can uninstall all patches to get it to work, digital copy there is no way to undo any patches to revert to a pre-patch game. Best bet for 2 and 3 is to track down a pre order code for the golden guns.

  This may be a little late, but as far as I can tell, you have to beat Crushing to unlock Brutal. I just beat Hard and I don't have it available. The wiki for the game says the same thing

  Ya know what's Brutal? Playing through the whole game with this method only for the stupid trophy not to unlock 😭😭. Must be patched.

  Just in case Metabolic’s post worries anyone still thinking of doing this, it’s definitely NOT patched and still works with the game online and fully updated.

  Do I have to complete the game on Crushing to unlock Brutal? Or is Hard enough?
  I just don’t want to go through two extremely difficult walkthroughs..

  @ProWizard94 you have to beat crushing. This glitch still works. Earnt the trophy Feb 2021.

  Worked like a charm, 06/2022. Starting with the truck chase section I started using super slow motion as well. Made all the combat sections afterwards so much easier.

  Still possible 11th Jan '24, and made a damn sight easier with chapter skips if you are in a position to pull them off.
