This is actually easier in Dream Log than it would be with Legend Log (if you're struggling early on). There are about eight Legend Diaries in the Dream Log and two of them request for your hard work in meeting a specific count for Beat ("!") and a kill count. Simply meet either of these (2000 "!" or 3000 Kills) in one island and you will end up getting the requirement to earn yourself a fancy piece of the Legend puzzle.

Or, you can always stick with completing them normally in Legend Log. Here, I'll even give you the full spread for the first mission, Romance Dawn! Legend Diaries read from top to bottom and then left to right. So it forms a grid, like this:

1 4 7
2 5 8
3 6 9

*NOTE: S Ranks are not obtainable on Easy difficulty in Legend Log. Dream Log does not take difficulty into consideration, therefore it is easier to get them early on than this mode.

1) Complete Romance Dawn. (This should be a given.)

2) S Rank on Kills. (Ballpark figure of around ~1100? I'd always go for more if possible, as this isn't something you're going to have to struggle for if you're clearing everything.)

3) S Rank on Beat. (This one can be a bit more tricky with this mission. Given you can't use Kizuna Rush, you have to rely on Kizuna Attacks instead. Read below, on #8.)

4) S Rank on Time. (Given most missions in Dream Log prefer you to finish in under 18 minutes, and that this mission is so small, I'd say that you have a fair amount of time to actually clear this with no fear of getting A or less unless you're playing on Easy. Go through the objectives, clearing what you need to, and this shouldn't be that hard to get.)

5) S Rank overall. (If you've succeeded at the previous three, this will come as no big surprise. This one you don't have to actually struggle with, unless you're having some difficulty with the Beat or Kills, in which case, you might need to ration out territories a bit longer to get more from them.)

6) All Treasure Events seen. (This isn't necessarily required to be done in one go; merely make sure you've completed them, period. Given that they have no character requirements, you have no real reason to avoid getting them your first time around, either. Simply protect ??? as s/he is raiding the treasury without him/her getting into conflict with a marine officer, and destroy every Morgan statue in the hallway northwest of where Zoro was being held.)

7) Complete Romance Dawn on "Hard" difficulty. (While this is technically unlocked from the get-go, the defense and attack of the enemies is far greater than any Level 1 Luffy can handle. Your best bet would be to wait until you can tackle these enemies on your own or hope that someone could carry you through it online!)

8) Gain 500 "!". (This is actually harder than you may think, simply because of the fact that you can't perform Kizuna Rush for this episode. Ignore any mobs where you can and go straight to your objectives until you get Zoro and, more specifically, the Kizuna gauge. After that, simply spam cn_Tcn_Tcn_T, followed by an extra cn_T to activate Zoro's Kizuna Attack that will attack forward for a short distance. This can easily take out many of the lesser soldiers and build up your Beat. Rinse and repeat, you should have plenty before you get to Morgan.)

9) Defeat Axe-hand Morgan using a Special Kizuna Attack. (This one's a bit tricky. Kizuna Rush is made available only during your fight with Morgan. However, given the durability of final bosses in each mission, their stamina gauge depletes in thirds. Make sure that you end up wearing him down to his final bar before taking this up. Once you do so, wail on him a bit and then let him have it with a combined special attack cn_O while in Kizuna Rush mode.)
