If you simply want to get this trophy as quick as possible then you can look over at the solution on TA by Llovyn Fyr, I suspect it would work perfectly fine. However if you (like myself) want to actually keep at least some of the money you're earning then this is the solution for you!

First is what you need: 250 gold, 3k glory and at least a few loot items (more on that below).

Quite simply, you want to put both cunning and influence up to 20 to hit the requirements for Haggler 1/3, then purchase it - I suggest from Cunningham in the pirate ship wreck on Kila as it's literally immediately next to where you start upon reaching the island.

Now go into your loot tab, and look at any and all of the silver and gold items that you do not ever permanently get rid of. These are the items that you want to sell, then buy back, when trading with the merchant of your choice (I'd suggest one with little to no items in their own loot tab so you don't accidentally buy things from them while monotonously tapping the button). Just to be clear, you have to complete the sale of your loot goods before you buy them back otherwise none of it will count either towards the counter or your wallet balance; neither a pleasant thought!

Why is this a good thing? Because unlike the other 98% of items in the game, all the silver and gold items buy and sell prices are identical... unless you've got even a measly 5% discount.

Obviously, how much money you make is heavily dependent on how many of these loot items you've managed to gather at that point, however it's also true that selling just these items will always make you a profit, so even if you're only making 100g per transaction that's still 100g more in your pocket. And of course, if you get Haggler to the second or even the third level then your profits will double or even triple ;)

If you're wondering how this helps you earn the trophy, every single gold coin you earn in this way gets added to the invisible counter linked to it, so simply doing this to earn the money for unlocking skills, buying weapons and armour, ammunition for your guns or anything else will get you the trophy in less time than you might think.
