  You can only get the sniper rifle after you find ethan, travel back to the first area and follow the train tracks acoss the bridge until you find a rock slide that blocks your progress ,go left until you reach a viewpoint look for a rock with a conifer cone which will become a grenade after you interact with it,take it to the dam bridge and look for a viewpoint to throw the grenade, make sure it hits the water and makes a sound , get back down to the generator house you used to lower the water level, and go outside the other door look for a dead diver with a sniper rifle take it and you'll get the trophy

  NOTE- You only can obtain this trophy after you have found Ethan.
  
  
  

  
  The first area in the video is "Traps n Skulls" simply follow the train tracks across the bridge until you get to some rocks that block your path, now head left until you reach the rock with a pine cone on...
  @1.40 the area is "House of portals"
  @2.04 the area is "Ancient god"

  Find the handgrenade at the start of the area, where you chase the astronaut, like i did. You can use the video above for the exact location.
  When you come to the bridge crossing the wide river, throw the grenade into the water at the last outcrop on the bridge in the right side, it'll explode but nothing else happens.
  
  Keep following the story until you reach the generator house.
  
  After entering walk towards the other end and out the door, climbing over the first wall with the inset stairs to find a diver lying at the waters edge, a sniper rifle beside him.
  
  Take the sniper rifle an POP, you got your trophy!
  
  NO need to find Ethan first or backtrack the whole way toward picking up the grenade!
  
  How do i know?
  
  Two trophys locked, "Acceptance" and "What happens then?" and already got the "Unfinished Story" trophy. Check the timestamp, cause i will have the other two by the time you will read this.
  
  Don't know, if they changed the trophy unlock for this one, but you do NOT need to find Ethan to earn this trophy! And you most certainly do NOT need to run ALL the way back to the beginning to find the handgrenade!
